Barcelona target Verratti tells PSG: I'll stay if you buy champions Barcelona target Verratti tells PSG: I'll stay if you buy champions

The Catalans are interested in securing a mega deal for the midfielder but he says that he could stay in Paris, if the club make some big signings
Marco Verratti has told Paris Saint-Germain that he could be willing to stay at the club and resist a move to Barcelona, but only if they sign "champions" in the transfer market.
As revealed by GoalBarca are preparing a bid of up to €100 million for the midfielder, who is open to the idea of making the switch to the Camp Nou.

PSG failed to win Ligue 1 for the first time in five years in 2016-17 and suffered a humiliating Champions League last-16 collapse at the hands of Barca.
But Verratti is seemingly prepared to give the French side a chance to keep hold of him, suggesting that he could be willing to remain in Paris if they can sign some of the world's top stars.
"I do not have to go at all costs, but I want to see if they really buy champions this time," Verratti said, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"If they do, I will be happy to stay. But every year they say they will make a big team and then we have seen the results.
"The promises from PSG alone are not enough, but if this time [sporting director Antero] Henrique keeps to what he says, then I will be happy to stay, no one at all obliges me to leave."
Despite Barca's interest, PSG have been determined to keep the 24-year-old, who signed from Pescara back in 2012.
